BRIEFS FROM IMPORTANT SUBJECTS @ Energy Efficiency Strategy Document Draft, Brings a New Approach to EPB (BEP) lssue The new "Energy Efficiency Strategy Document Draft" prepared by the Ministıy of Energy and Natura! Resources, brings anew approach to the subject of Energy Performance in Buildings - EPB (BEP). WiththeDraft, it is aimed to establish the road map of Turkey in energy efficiency, in the light of ali results obtained from the works carried out on energy efficiency so far, problems encountered, and global tendencies in energy sector. The Draft is indicated to have been prepared tor ensuring collaboration between the public sector, private sector and the non-governmental organizationstor the works tobecarried out, to identify apolicy, and describe the responsibilities of the institutions during implementations. According to the Draft, limitations will be brought in on maximum energy requirement and maximumemissions tor the buildings, and it these standards are not adhered to, no further building permissionswill be issued.
