İşletme halinde olan atıksu arıtma tesis sayısı 22 olup, 8 adedi ön arıtma, 12 adedi biyolojik ve geri kalan 2 adedi ise ileri biyolojik (N ve Pgiderimi) arıtma şekl indedir. Yeni inşaa edilen atıksu arıtma tesisleri; Paşabahçe Atıksu Ön Arıtma, Tuzla il. Kısım, Paşaköy il. Kısım, Ataköy, Ambarlı Atıksu İleri Biyolojik Arıtma Tesisleridir. Yapımları planlanan ise; Selimpaşa, Silivri, Tuzla 2. Aşama, Çanta Atıksu İleri Biyolojik Arıtma Tesi sleri'dir. The total amount of waste water that is dischargedto the sea after purification is ata level of 95%. The number of currently operational waste water purification faci lities is 22 and 8 of them provide pre-purification, 12 of them provide biological purification and the remaining two provide advanced biologic (N and P clearance) purification services. The newly constructed waste water purification facilities are; Paşabahçe Waste Water Pre-Purification, Tuzla Section il, Paşaköy Section il, Ataköy, Ambarl ı Waste Water Advanced Biological Purification Facility.
